Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography (R) verification upon hire.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARRT Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders using advanced mammography equipment.
• Adjusts imaging techniques and positioning to accommodate patient age and needs for optimal images.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adheres to department protocols and continually evaluates imaging factors and treatment considerations to ensure accuracy.
