Job summary

South Jersey Radiology Associates in Haddonfield, NJ is seeking a full-time radiology technologist with training in x-ray and mammography to join our diagnostic team.

You will operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, assist patients, and collaborate with physicians. Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00–4:30, Tue/Thu 10:30–7:00.

Qualifications

• Completion of certificate of training in x-ray and mammography.
• Current, valid NJ State license.
• ARRT licensure required with clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning and medical terminology.
• Commitment to radiation safety and patient care.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients on and off exam tables as indicated.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians and office staff.
• Maintain patient contact and provide compassionate care.

• Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 8a-4:30p Tue/Thu 10:30a-7p

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of certificate of training in x-ray, mammography and ARRT licensure in both with clinical experience
• Current, valid NJ State license
• Completion of certification of training in x-ray and mammography
• Working knowledge of anatomy, positioning, medical terminology
• Knowledge of radiation safety
• Knowledge of filming/PACS and RIS
• Ability to work with others
• Genuine desire to want to help others
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Physical Demands of the Position - Position requires standing and walking 80-90% of designated shift. Position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and twisting.
