Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Women’s Breast Center in Estero, FL. The role involves screening and diagnostic mammography, and bone densitometry, with exposure to specialized breast biopsies under physician direction.

The candidate must have ARRT radiology and mammography certifications, Florida Radiologic Technology license, and MQSA 40 hour CE completion after 1999. Two years hospital-based education or an associate degree is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Two years formal education in a hospital-based program or associates degree in radiologic technology required.
• Experience: One year experience in mammography related services required.
• Certification: ARRT certification in radiology required. ARRT certification in mammography required. Documentation and completion of 40 hours of mammographic continuing education required by MQSA after April 28, 1999.
• License: Florida Radiologic Technology license required.

• Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee and physician satisfaction.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Participates in staff/student orientation training.
