Overview:

Sentara is hiring a Mammography Technologist II in Northern Virginia

This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity with great benefits

A sign-on bonus of 15K available for qualified candidates.

A Mammography Tech II , conducts general screening and diagnostic Mammography and /or Bone Densitometry imaging studies of patients to include breast ultrasound or interventional procedures, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.

Additional responsibilities include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

• ARRT Mammography certification


• ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $39.51 - $58.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
