Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a FLEXI Mammography Technologist. This flexi role is based at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and its satellite location at Sentara Fort Norfolk, with hours Mon-Fri 0630-1630 and Sat 0745-1200.

You will perform diagnostic and interventional mammography and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a Radiologic Technology trade school diploma, ARRT Mammography and Radiography registries, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registries in Mammography and Radiography required or registry eligible with 90 days to obtain.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional mammography procedures.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance per state and federal standards.

Overview

Sentara Norfolk General hospital is hiring for a FLEXI Mammography Technologist. Shift: This is a flexi position based out of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and its satellite location at Sentara Fort Norfolk. Normal business hours Monday-Friday are 0630-1630 and Saturdays, 0745-1200. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently.

Position Details and Requirements

Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures. Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.

Required Education

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology.

Licenses and Certifications Required

ARRT registry in Mammography, ARRT registry in Radiography, Basic Life Support. ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $39.51 - $58.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
