Sentara Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist II for a full-time day shift in Northern Virginia. The role includes screening and diagnostic mammography, bone densitometry, and potentially ultrasound or interventional procedures under physician direction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology training from a recognized program.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility.
• Must obtain ARRT registry within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general screening and diagnostic Mammography and/or Bone Densitometry imaging.
• Position patients to obtain correct anatomy/pathology views.
• Operate radiation-producing equipment and digital radiology systems.
• Prepare patient rooms, equipment and medications; maintain supplies.
• Explain procedures to patients and document the exam.
