Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist II to join our outpatient imaging team in Columbia, SC. You will assist physicians in screening imaging and operate mammography equipment to capture diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT radiography and mammography credentials, state licensing if required, and 2+ years of experience. This full-time role offers a supportive environment with growth opportunities and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in screening imaging and prepare the patient.
• Operate mammographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient care and safety throughout the imaging process.

What You'll Do

The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in the performance of screening imaging by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
