Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, offers in-office Mammography services using top-tier equipment and expert staff. Located within our network of OBGYN practices, we provide patients with a comfortable environment for well-women visits and screening mammograms.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist for our Novi, MI location. The role involves performing 3D digital mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging, and maintaining compliance with MQSA and ACR standards. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of mammography, be able to work independently, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Location: 46325 W 12 Mile Rd STE 250, Novi, MI 48377

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
  2. Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment.
  3. Maintain attention to detail during procedures.
  4. Communicate with radiologists regarding exams.
  5. Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient info.
  6. Complete patient documentation and administrative tasks.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of results and escalate delays.
  8. Support compliance with MQSA and ACR requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • ARRT Registration R.T.(R) and Certification in Mammography (M).
  • State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
  • Maintain registry and continuing education.
