Job summary

MedQuest Imaging Matthews is seeking a Mammography Technologist (Full-Time) to join our outpatient imaging team in Matthews, NC. You will prepare patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified in Radiography and Mammography with 2+ years of mammography experience, and hold a state license where required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in screening imaging and operate mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and ensure exam quality and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to optimize imaging workflows.

This role is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You'll Do

The Mammography Technologist assists physicians in the performance of screening imaging by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required
• 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
