Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a regional imaging team across multiple facilities. You will perform mammography exams, maintain high-quality imaging, and ensure patient safety while delivering a supportive experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, reviewing images for quality, managing patient flow, and adhering to infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• : Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• • ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification; BLS required.
• • Hospital-based radiology experience with mammography expertise (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• : Perform mammography exams following physician orders and protocols.
• • Gather patient history, screen contraindications, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety (AIDET).
• • Protect patient privacy, ensure proper positioning, assist with patient transfers.
• • Review images for quality and completeness, maintain first-time acceptance standards.
• • Operate equipment safely, optimize dose, and adhere to infection control.
• • Conduct QC tests, maintain records, ensure regulatory compliance.
• • Label and document images accurately; manage daily procedure charges; keep suite clean.
• • Provide clear instructions and address patient questions; support training; collaborate in a fast-paced team.

In this role, you will perform mammography exams, ensuring high-quality and safe imaging while providing a supportive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Executing mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Gathering patient history, screening for contraindications, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety (AIDET).
• Protecting patient privacy, ensuring proper positioning, and assisting with patient transfers.
• Reviewing images for quality and completeness, maintaining first-time acceptance standards.
• Operating equipment safely, optimizing dose, and adhering to infection control standards.
• Performing QC tests, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Labeling and documenting images accurately, managing daily procedure charges, and maintaining a clean, stocked suite.
• Providing clear instructions, addressing patient questions, supporting training, and collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications Include

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist experience and mammography expertise.
• Certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
