Job summary

Consumer Directed Services Inc. in Georgia is seeking a radiologic technologist focused on mammography to support a float team across multiple facilities. You will perform high-quality exams, ensure patient safety, review images for quality, and document in PACS/RIS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting a variety of imaging services as part of a float team across multiple facilities, focusing on mammography. • Operate mammography equipment safely, adhere to protocols, and perform quality control tests.
• Gather patient history, explain procedures clearly, and address patient questions.
• Protect patient privacy and dignity, assist with patient positioning and transfers, and support emergency situations when needed.
• Maintain equipment, keep the workspace clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and charge capture for procedures.
• Assist in training team members and support continuous education.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience.

• Certifications required are ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-M (Mammography), and BLS.
• Strong skills in anatomy, pathology, positioning, radiation safety, and mammography best practices are essential.
