The pay range for this position is $30.00-$45.69 based on direct and relevant experience.

There is a $3,000 relocation or sign on bonus for this role! RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float Mammography & Dexa Technologist to join our team. As a Float Mammography & Dexa Technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient-centered approach, you will provide Mammography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Each patient comes seeking answers. You will guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, day shifts, traveling to several centers in the Twin Cities. This position is also available in a part-time 0.8 or 0.9 status (benefit eligible).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

(90%) Patient Mammography & Dexa Imaging

• Screens patients before exam for precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explains and prepares patients for Mammography imaging procedures, positioning patients appropriately.
• Performs routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures with minimal supervision, providing patient support throughout.
• Adjusts scan parameters as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques.
• Maintains positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
• Follows physicians’ orders and safety regulations.
• Maintains accurate patient records within RIS.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation compliance.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order, disinfects after use.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Scans in two or more centers.

(5%) Department Support

• Maintains imaging protocol manual and software.
• Monitors and requests medical supplies.
• Assists in training new staff.

(5%) Performs other tasks as assigned.
