Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Mammography Technologist for the Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center. This part-time role provides a stable schedule and meaningful clinical work. You will perform mammography exams, verify patient identity, and ensure high-quality imaging with strong patient communication.

The position requires ARRT-R and ARRT-M credentials, an accredited radiologic program, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiologic and mammography hospital experience. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRt-M certifications are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Verify patient identity and document history per guidelines.
• Review images for quality and accuracy in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards.
• Assist in training team members and ensure patient comfort.
