Job summary

Cayuga Health, A Member of Centralus Health, is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist for its East Campus and Cayuga Park Imaging locations in Ithaca, NY. The successful candidate will operate mammography and x-ray equipment, educate patients on the benefits of mammography, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

This position requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences, certification in Mammography preferred. The pay range is $31.25 to $40.87 per hour plus benefits. Join us in promoting preventative health and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences (ARRT).
• Certification in Mammography preferred; non-certified candidates must become certified within one year.
• Preference for two years of experience but willing to train new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform various mammography/x-ray related procedures.
• Prepare and position patients and select anatomical and technical parameters.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of all high-quality images to PACS.
