Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham in Needham, MA is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 32-hour Day shift in the Radiology Department. You will perform mammography/breast imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate exam records.

Requires Vocational/Technical training, Associate's degree preferred, RAML Mammography license or Radiography Mammography & CT registration, ARRT Certificate, and BLS. Prior PACS experience and 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training required; associate's degree preferred.
• RAML-Mammography license or Radiography Mam & CT registration required.
• ARRT Certification (Certificate 1) required; BLS Certification (Certificate 2) required.
• 0–1 year related work experience required; computer proficiency including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in Mammography/Breast Imaging.
• Schedules and documents exams and maintains accurate records.
• Performs quality control on equipment per guidelines.
• Verifies patient identity and ensures safety standards.
• Collaborates with Mammography Section Supervisor for optimal images and patient satisfaction.
• Manages PACS reviews and merges exams as needed.
