Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Mammography Radiology Technologist in Chicago, IL to determine appropriate technique, position patients, and operate radiographic equipment. You will assist in room setup, film quality, and safety.

Responsibilities include patient records, scheduling, and adherence to safety standards. Required are ARRT mammography and radiology certification, IDNS licensure, CPR, and a graduate from an accredited radiographic program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health Information System.
• Ability to anticipate patient, employee and department needs and refer for action.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determination of appropriate Mammography technique and position for patients using immobilization and support devices.
• Positions patient and adjusts equipment with courtesy; maintains film quality.
• Operation of radiography equipment and maintenance of supplies.
• Prepare mammography room and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain patient records, schedule exams, and ensure radiation safety standards.

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology
