Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist responsible for maintaining quality patient care in the Mammography department. The successful candidate will produce high-quality radiographs, ensure radiation safety, and utilize the Radiology Information Computer System effectively.

This role requires completion of an accredited Radiologist Technology program and ARRT registration. Candidates with prior experience as a Registered Technologist are preferred, but new graduates will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiologist Technology program.
• Prior experience as a Registered Technologist is preferred but will consider new graduates.
• Must be ARRT registered and certified in Mammography within 12 months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographs through proper positioning and techniques.
• Perform visual preventative safety inspections and report dangerous conditions.
• Utilize assigned functions of the Radiology Information Computer System.
