Job summary

Qualifications

• Must take the initial ARRT certification exam for Mammography within 6 months of completing required competencies.
• Must pass the ARRT Mammography certification exam within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification with 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mammography Equipment and performs Mammography Exams; assesses patient condition and adjusts imaging procedures.
• Records patient breast history and notes relevant details for radiologist.
• Adheres to departmental policies and safety protocols; documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD systems.
• Assists in other areas/modalities as needed.
• Cleans and maintains all accessory equipment and work area.
