Job summary

Qualifications

• Must take the ARRT Mammography initial exam within 6 months of completing competencies.
• Must pass the ARRT Mammography certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Education equivalent to an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mammography equipment and perform exams with patient-specific adjustments.
• Record patient breast history and note any relevant medical concerns.
• Document work in HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD systems according to policy.
• Assist in other areas/modalities as needed.
• Maintain and clean all equipment and work areas.
