Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT in Mammography (M)
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required by end of orientation

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammographic exams using appropriate imaging equipment and verify patient identity.
• Explain procedure, risks, and follow-up to patients.
• Set up equipment and acquire images per protocol; review images and communicate data to radiologist.
• Respond to medical emergencies as appropriate and provide post-care instructions.
