Job summary

Corewell Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist for the Health Care Center West Bloomfield. Under site designate leader, you will perform accurate Mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment, applying clinical judgment and initiative to produce optimal images for interpretation.

You will adhere to Patient and Family Centered Care, meet ARRT/JRCERT requirements, and join a team committed to safety, diversity, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant mammography experience preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification required upon hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) certification within 1 year.
• CRT-BLS from AHA or ARC required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient mammography exams with proper imaging equipment.
• Apply clinical judgment to produce optimal images for interpretation.
• Uphold Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
• Follow established policies and procedures with initiative and independence.

LOCATION: HEALTH CARE CENTER, WEST BLOOMFIELD

Scope of work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate's degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCET) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 Years' experience beyond staff radiographer level Preferred
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
