Corewell Health’s Care Center Southgate in Michigan is seeking a Mammography Technologist to lead quality control within the Breast Care Services and ensure regulatory compliance. The role covers daily floor operations and collaboration with leadership, including scheduling and payroll tasks.

Ideal candidates have ARRT radiography and mammography credentials, a JRCERT-accredited program, and 3 years of mammography experience. A strong focus on patient and staff satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent in healthcare or related field.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare or related field preferred.
JRCERT Accredited Radiography program required.
3 years of relevant clinical mammography technologist experience.
ARRT CRT-Radiographer (R) required on hire.
ARRT CRT-Mammography (M) required on hire.
ARRT Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Oversee quality control to maintain regulatory compliance.
Lead department under supervisor/manager.
Assist with staff scheduling with leadership accountable for accuracy.
Oversee day-to-day floor operations within Breast Care Services.
Monitor customer and employee satisfaction for trends and improvements.
Assist manager with payroll duties as assigned.
Monitor education requirements for regulatory compliance.
May lead special projects assigned by leadership.

Scope

In collaboration with leadership, responsible for the oversight of quality control duties for maintaining compliance with various regulatory agencies. Assumes a leadership role in the department under direction of supervisor/manager. Assists with staff scheduling with leadership being responsible for the accuracy of the schedule overall. Oversee day-to-day floor operations within Breast Care Services. Monitors customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction results, looking for trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. Assists manager with payroll duties as assigned. Monitors and tracks education requirements for regulatory compliance, as assigned. May lead special projects assigned by leadership.
