Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography examinations with patient‑centered care. You will operate state‑of‑the‑art mammography equipment, assess patient needs, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high‑quality images on the Day shift.

The role requires licensure as an Oregon Radiographer, BLS, ARRT radiography credentials, and completion of mammography certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure requirements: ensure license/registration at hire.
• Oregon Radiographer License required at hire.
• BLS certification required at hire (AHA).
• ARRT Radiography certification required at hire.
• Mammography technologist certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders using specialized equipment.
• Considers patient age‑related needs and imaging factors to obtain optimal images.
