Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time day shift. The role requires Oregon Radiographer license, ARRT radiography registration, and BLS. A National registered mammography technologist credential within 6 months is expected.

The successful candidate will perform mammography exams, tailor imaging to patient needs, and contribute to a high-quality imaging service within Providence's patient-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
