Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the full-time day shift. The role involves performing mammography exams, utilizing advanced equipment, and applying patient-specific imaging techniques to ensure optimal results.

Qualified candidates must hold Oregon Radiographer Licensure with BLS and ARRT certifications, and complete ARRT Mammography within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires certification/licensure as per state and national standards.
• Must obtain Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
• Must obtain BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Must hold ARRT Radiography; and within 6 months ARRT Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations per physician orders.
• Uses diverse mammography equipment and assesses patient age-related needs.
• Applies imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images.
