Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the day shift. You will perform mammography examinations, use advanced equipment, and tailor imaging to each patient’s needs.

This full-time role offers a $6,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and a comprehensive benefits package. Oregon Radiographer License, BLS and ARRT mammography certification within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Responsibilities

Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders using various mammography systems.
Considers patient age-related and individual needs to produce optimal images.
Applies imaging factors and techniques while considering patient treatment as needed.
