Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, support radiologists with breast procedures, and ensure high-quality imaging with strict regulatory compliance.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, MQSA/ACR knowledge, and 2–3 years of mammography experience. A breast imaging focus and excellent patient care are key to success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Breast imaging coursework preferred.
• 2-3 years of mammography experience preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic breast imaging and breast procedures.
• ARRT certification required.
• ARRT (M) certification required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of MQSA and ACR standards.
• Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms independently.
• Assist radiologists with breast biopsies and other breast imaging procedures.
• Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience.
