Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and related processing in our California facilities. The role supports the department's scope of activities and contributes to patient-centered care within our mission and values.

The candidate should be a graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, hold California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, and obtain BLS through American Heart Association within 30 days of hire;

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the AMA Council on Medical Education or education and training as determined by the radiologist.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Radiology Technologist experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and process x-ray films for mammography and related tasks within the department.
• Support department operations and maintain patient-focused care.

Education

Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the AMA Council on Medical Education or equivalent as determined by Radiologist
