Job summary

Providence is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform the taking and processing of mammography films and related radiology tasks. You will support our patient-centered radiology team and uphold high quality standards.

Required: graduate of a radiologic technology program, California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, and BLS from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Two years of radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the AMA or equivalent education/training as determined by the radiologist.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required on hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs the taking and processing of mammography films and related radiology tasks.
• Supports the radiology team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or education and training as determined by the radiologist.
• Upon hire: California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist; 2 years preferred.
