UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography with compassionate, patient-centered care. You will work with Radiologists, prepare patients, and ensure comfort while upholding MQSA and radiation safety standards.

You will rotate across UCLA Health Breast Imaging Centers, maintain accurate records, and support a high standard of patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires CRT (R) (M) Mammography license and ARRT (M) within 1 year of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of experience in Breast Imaging required; DEXA experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform digital mammography examinations and assist Radiologist.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and coordinate with departments.
• Maintain MQSA quality assurance, safety standards, and accurate documentation.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked work area and monitor supplies.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs; ensure safe operation.
• Float between UCLA Health Breast Imaging Centers and rotate shifts as needed.
