Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality digital mammography for diagnostic and screening purposes. You will work under the Breast Imaging Manager and Medical Director, providing compassionate, patient-centered care while adhering to MQSA, QA/QC and safety standards.

The role involves assisting Radiologists, preparing patients, coordinating with departments, and rotating across UCLA Health Breast Imaging Centers.

Qualifications

• CRT Mammography license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ARRT Mammography license due within one year of hire.
• At least 1 year of Breast Imaging experience.
• DEXA experience preferred.
• Breast Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital mammography examinations and assist Radiologist as needed.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, ensure comfort, privacy and dignity.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and coordinate with departments.
