Job summary

Requirements include radiologic technology education, IEMA and ARRT mammography certification, and BLS. The position offers a $35–$38/hour pay range with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA-regulated radiology technician certification is required.
• Mammography certification or ARRT eligibility required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily mammography schedules.
• Supervise quality improvement efforts in mammography.
• Monitor patient wait times and coordinate feedback with stakeholders.
• Post procedure charges accurately and document data in radiology records.
• Ensure MQSA/ACR compliance and documentation for inspections.
• Assist in volume and productivity reporting and documentation.
• Support management with quality and process improvement for mammography.
• Perform quality control checks on radiology equipment and maintain records.
• Coordinate patients and exams with radiologists and staff.
• Maintain inventory to minimize department costs.
• Assist in staff evaluations and training.
• Coordinate patient flow to optimize workflow.
