Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs mammographic imaging procedures, assists radiologists in biopsies and other procedures, performs X-ray and DEXA imaging as needed, positions patients, takes patient histories, performs clerical duties, and provides basic patient care within scope of practice. Adheres to corporate compliance, local, state, and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.

• Examines requisitions, reports, and prior films for relevant information.
• Performs X-ray and DEXA procedures as needed.
• Demonstrates competency in positioning and technical factors for digital mammography.
• Uses accepted standards for positioning and image quality.
• Performs QA/QC tests as per ACR guidelines.
• Maintains required education units per MQSA, State License, and ARRT standards.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of mammography experience, including biopsies, with current registry
• Computer proficiency
• BLS certification
• CRT certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Physicist-Rad Therapy IEMA (PHYS-RAD)
• Medical Radiation Technology - IEMA (MRT-IEMA)
• Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH)
