Job summary

RadNet in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort while adhering to policy.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification and a state license, with CPR. At least one year of imaging experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required or preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid, focal spot size and AEC settings to obtain quality images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and address discomfort or medical issues.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions about exam steps and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
