Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Breast Diagnostic Center. The technologist operates Mammography and Radiology imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist physicians in sterile procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-exam screening, patient prep, chart review, IV starts, contrast administration, patient transport, and coordinating with staff and physicians to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiography program is required.
• ARRT registration with advanced registration in Mammography.
• BLS with AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-exam screening and assist with gowns and history forms.
• Verify orders, start IVs when necessary, and administer contrast media.
• Transport patients, manage workflow, and communicate with physicians, staff, and patients.
