Job summary

Atlanta Women’s Healthcare Specialists seeks an experienced Mammography Technologist to join the Imaging Department. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT Mammography certification, a current BLS card, and at least two years of mammography experience, with proficiency in using imaging equipment and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT Mammography (M) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of two years of mammography experience.
• Proficiency with mammography equipment and safety standards.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams per protocols.
• Review charts and prior studies to prepare for imaging.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Identify need for additional imaging and inform physician of findings.
• Provide technical information and documentation to support diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
