Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. in Trinity, FL is seeking a Mammographer to perform screening and diagnostic mammography using 2D/3D equipment. You’ll collect patient history to provide radiologists with complete clinical context and support QC procedures and cross-modality imaging as needed.

The role requires ARRT(M), state licensure where applicable, CPR certification and strong customer service skills. This on-site position emphasizes MQSA compliance and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Mammography Program (State approved)
• ARRT (M) certification
• State License, if applicable.
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license if applicable.
• MQSA standards knowledge
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Performs mammogram exams on patients.
• Obtains patient history, prior films/reports, and other information (RIS/PACS, burn discs).
• Performs Quality Control (QC) for FDA/ACR.
• Provides imaging support to other modalities in the center (x-ray/bone density, etc).
• Works with mammogram letters (results/reminders).
