Job Summary

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Breast Center seeks a skilled Mammographer for a full-time role supporting day shifts, 4/10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month. The clinic is newly renovated and offers opportunities for overtime. This role involves performing mammography procedures used by physicians to detect abnormalities, diagnose, and treat patients.

Job Description

• Perform mammography radiographic exams ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast if necessary, position patients, select imaging techniques, and ensure image quality.
• Monitor and enter patient data, perform quality assurance on equipment, and assist with accreditation processes.
• Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in emergency calls within the department.
• Adhere to safety policies, support professional growth, and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Create compassionate, personalized patient experiences, exemplifying Memorial Hermann’s service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
