Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its Merriam, KS office. The role performs 3D digital mammography to support in-office breast imaging, with an emphasis on accuracy and patient care. The ideal candidate possesses ARRT credentials, state license if applicable, and prior mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences required.
• ARRT Registration in Radiography (R.T.(R)) required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State radiation license (if applicable).
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images and verify patient information.
• Complete required paperwork and patient information accurately.
• Deliver timely mammography results and escalate if needed.
• Maintain MQSA and ACR compliance and continuing education.
