Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers is seeking a Mammography X-Ray Technologist for our Kansas City area clinics. The role focuses on high-quality digital X-ray and mammography exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and delivering a positive patient experience.

You’ll work in a radiologist-led, team-based environment with opportunities for growth, ongoing education, and excellent benefits. Schedule: Tue–Fri, with limited weekend duties and no evenings or Sundays.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist required in KS clinics.
• ARRT Mammography Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality digital X-ray and mammography exams.
• Ensure compliance with MQSA and quality standards.
• Provide clear patient education and compassionate care.
• Maintain positioning accuracy and image quality.
• Review and process images in RIS and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to ensure seamless workflow.

Mammography X-Ray Technologist – Join Kansas City’s Premier Locally Owned Imaging Team

Position Title: Mammography X-Ray Technologist
Location: KCK Legends Wyandotte Location
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Routine Day Off: Mondays off
Saturday Rotation: One 8:00am - 12:00pm Saturday at our Overland Park clinic every 4-6 weeks

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Mammography X-Ray Technologist to join our team at KCK. TheMammography X-Ray Technologistwill perform both general X-ray and mammography exams while ensuring safety, accuracy, and an exceptional patient experience.

Position Responsibilities

Perform high-quality digital X-ray and mammography exams

Ensure compliance with MQSA and quality standards

Provide clear patient education and compassionate care

Maintain positioning accuracy and image quality

Review and process images in RIS and PACS

Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to ensure seamless workflow

Requirements

Required Credentials:

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist

Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist, if working in a Kansas clinic

ARRT Mammography Registry preferred

Professional & Technical Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of general radiography principles

Competency in mammography positioning and quality control standards

Professional, dependable, and self-motivated

Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach

Detail-oriented and safety-conscious

Flexible to travel between DIC clinic locations as needed
