Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Weymouth, MA. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, using specialized X-ray equipment in collaboration with radiologists to interpret results.

Qualifications

• Current license or certificate in the state where they will be working.
• One year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures. The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current License or Certificate in state where they will beworking

• One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technicianpreferred.
