Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, operate X-ray equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret results.

The role requires current state license, CPR if applicable, and at least 18 years old; one year of experience preferred. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures. The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.

• Current License or Certificate in state where they will beworking
• One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technicianpreferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to accuratelycommunicate with patients
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
