Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Contract Mammography Technologist in South Elgin, IL, to join an outpatient imaging center. The role requires ARRT(M) certification, ARRT registration, Illinois licensing as needed, and BLS/CPR with MQSA/ACR/ARRT compliance.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, ensure proper patient positioning, and maintain high-quality images while adhering to radiation-safety standards and collaborating with radiologists and the imaging team.

Qualifications

• ARRT(M) Mammography certification required.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Illinois license/authorization as required.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Must meet all MQSA, ACR, and ARRT mammography requirements.
• Mammography positioning and image-quality experience.
• Screening and diagnostic mammography experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Provide accurate patient positioning and high-quality images.
• Follow established radiation-safety and quality-control procedures.
• Maintain documentation according to facility, ACR, MQSA, and ARRT standards.
• Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients.
