Job summary

National Medical Imaging is seeking an ARRT(M) Mammography Technologist for a contract assignment with a welcoming outpatient imaging center in South Elgin, Illinois.

The ideal candidate has ARRT Mammography certification, Illinois license, BLS/CPR, and knowledge of MQSA/ACR/ARRT requirements. You will perform screening and diagnostic exams, ensure high image quality, and collaborate with radiologists in a patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT(M) Mammography certification required.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Illinois license/authorization as required.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Must meet MQSA, ACR, and ARRT mammography requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Provide accurate patient positioning and high-quality images.
• Follow established radiation-safety and quality-control procedures.
• Maintain documentation according to facility, ACR, MQSA, and ARRT standards.
• Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and the outpatient imaging team.
