RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist in Minnesota. You will operate mammography scanners to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role emphasizes accurate positioning, adherence to procedures, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with a 0.8–0.9 FTE option for 30–39 hours/week. DailyPay is offered; pay range is $30.00-$50.00 hourly based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT registered and in good standing.
• CPR certification current.
• State license as applicable for radiologic technologist.
• Continued CEUs in modality per MQSA/state rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging with correct patient positioning.
• Respect safety regulations and maintain patient records in RIS.
• Assist with protocol updates and software upgrades.
• Support training of new team members when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment.

Job Summary

RAYUS now offers DailyPay! Work today, get paid today! The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 based on direct and relevant experience. RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for the operation of assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide Mammography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 5:00pm. This position is also available part-time 30-39 hours/week in 0.8 or 0.9 FTE status (benefit eligible).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

(90%) Patient Mammography Imaging

• Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
• Explains and prepares patients for Mammography imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately imaged/scanned
• Performs routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
• Adjusts Mammography scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriateli>
• Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
• Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) Mammography Department Support

• Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
• Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
• Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Required:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform mammography procedures independently
• Certification in imaging specialty
• Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific
