Job description

*Job Overview:*

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Operate mammography equipment and perform related imaging procedures
* Develop and assess images for quality factors including density, contrast, definition, and distortion
* Educate patients on mammography procedures and the importance of regular breast screenings
* Prepare and maintain accurate records and files
* Clean, calibrate, and adjust imaging equipment as needed
* Follow established protocols and use professional judgment to accomplish tasks
* Perform additional duties as assigned under general supervision

*Requirements:*
* Current registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
* Valid state license for Radiology and Mammography
* Current hands-on CPR certification
* Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, and walking

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Familiarity with outpatient radiology workflows
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient education
