ABSMC-Alta Bates Summit Med Center
The lead technologist is responsible for a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation and other energy forms to provide diagnostic images. The role includes direct patient care approximately 50% of the time, maintaining competency in all licensure areas, providing leadership and training to staff, and ensuring equipment maintenance and certifications, including ACR for Mammography and Ultrasound. Guidance is provided by the Operations Manager, Radiologists, and Director.
The position requires high-quality image acquisition, data management for quality control, excellent customer service, and independent judgment. The role aligns with the SEBMF mission to enhance community health and wellness, demonstrating professionalism, a positive attitude, and a commitment to personalized patient care.
Days, full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with as-needed weekends.
Benefits included. Pay range: $60.54–$75.96/hr; Lead Mammo Tech: $69.16–$86.77/hr. Compensation varies based on experience, education, and organizational factors.
