Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a Mammography Tech to perform all mammography procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, adhering to ACR standards and MQSA.

Must have radiography program certification, ARRT Radiography and Mammography credentials, IEMA licensure, and BLS. One year of experience in mammography is preferred. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• ARRT Radiography(R) credential required.
• ARRT Mammography(M) credential within 18 months of hire.
• IEMA Licensure as a registered radiologic technologist.

Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $44.30/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mammography Tech performs all mammography procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license and according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Completion of a radiography program with associated certificate or degree

Licensure/Certification:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Radiography(R)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Techs) Mammography(M) within 18 months of hire date
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Licensure as a registered radiologic technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (BLS for HealthCare Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

• One year in mammography and radiology
