Hmixray is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care using advanced radiology techniques. The role involves operating mammographic equipment, optimizing image quality through precise technical adjustments, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the exam.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, maintain patient confidentiality, and uphold professional standards in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and other devices per policies.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly with excellent patient care.
• Adjust equipment settings (compression, KvP, mas, AEC, etc.) to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions about exam steps.
• Address physician questions and patient needs regarding exams.
• Safeguard patient data and property, including health information and medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

When you join us as a Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(M) certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• Must have BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $40.00 - $60.00 / Per Hour
