Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Naples, FL seeks a Part-Time Float Mammography Technologist to support multiple sites nationwide. You will operate mammography equipment, perform procedures, and contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care.

Required: ARRT registration in Radiology and a current Florida Radiologic and Mammography license. The role involves lifting up to 40 pounds, documenting records, and maintaining equipment as needed.

• Current Radiology and Mammography license in the state required.
• Experience with mammography equipment and quality control a plus.

Responsibilities

Note: This is a Float position to the following locations: St Pete, Park Blvd, MacDill, Carrollwood, Brandon, Sun City, Lakewood ranch, Sarasota, Sarasota Springs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requiresregistration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Requires current Radiology and Mammography license in the State

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
